David Thompson, the founder of SaaSx Lawyer P.C., has been providing legal services to venture-backed startups and public technology companies for over two decades. He began his career in venture finance, founded and sold a company of his own, and eventually advanced to strategic commercial roles in two cybersecurity software firms that successfully went public. Leveraging these experiences, David now leads a skilled team of professionals dedicated to helping venture backed companies stretch their investment dollars and accelerate their revenue growth.
In his free time, David plays tenor saxophone in Kava Jah & the Remedy, a reggae band that began as a Covid recording project. The group has recorded one album and two EP's; the second of which will be released in Fall 2024. Kava Jah & The Remedy has performed throughout California and has opened for reggae legends such as Steel Pulse, Israel Vibration, Black Uhuru, and The Itals. Kava Jah & the Remedy is managed by King's Music International. David is also a member of a Brazilian band called Bagunça, which means "messy" in Portuguese, a rather apt description.
David is currently working on a social media project dedicated to the practices of law and music.
